It didn't help that I didn't really want to talk about December and how my running dropped off a bit. I had a case of "runner's knee" that started at the tail end of the 5k training...probably from the increased speedwork.
I really began running again in earnest on New Year's Day, which will show up in the January summary.

This is a great blog. I enjoy reading about those training for runs. I would like to do something similar on my site. Are you just using Excel (published to HTML)?
I have just founf your blog and i hope you don't mind if i link it to mine. I am a back of the pack runner :-) if you want to check my blog don't get too scared by the italian that you see. All the posts are in english too
you are doing a very good job and i'll certainly be reading about your training and progress.
bye for now :-)
It seems like this is always a hard time of year to get in miles. Add on a first child and you're probably lucky just to have a healthy outlet for stress.
Glad to hear you're getting back into it. I haven't run in a few years and am going to start up soon. I've been reading your blog silently for a little while.
Thanks for writing.
Hi I've just found your blog. I'm trainiing for the London Marathon at the moment. Just about to do a 10 mile training run but it is pouring with rain outside so I thought I'd leave you a message instead! It must be really hard fitting in running with a new baby, and keeping the blog up-to-date....well done! Would you put my blog onto your blog list? http://gofasterfood.blogspot.com
I would like to add your link to mine. Would that be OK with you?

I'm looking forward to keeping up with your progress! I'm training for the Deadwood-Mickelson Trail Marathon in June, myself, and writing about it on my blog. I'll definitely need to take a few pointers from you, though. I can't seem to keep myself from writing about food! Good luck!
Where did you get your running log? Can you just download it from somewhere? It's great!
A lot of my clubmates (who don't have kids) don't realise how lucky they are to have so much time.
For this reason, I stopped training with them because my time is valuable and I can't afford to waste it on those who turn up late or don't have the right kit etc.
It didn't go down well at first but its either them or my family...
Yeah, that running log is awesome, it's weird how it's an image though.
