Blogger is now offering its own commenting system. After tossing and turning in my sleep, I finally decided to use it. The main benefit is that comments will appear on the permalink page for each post. The huge downside is that I am losing old comments. Hopefully, I'll never need to change again. This and all this morning's hijinks have made for an eventful day.

Just as an FYI, I (and many others) will probably only ever use the "Anonymous" feature that doesn't capture website/email, etc - because to do anything else on this comment system forces you to sign up for a blogger weblog to do anything else, agreeing to all sorts of (future mutable) terms of service, etc. Just a comment.
Damn it - honestly forgot to say that that last comment (on commenting) was done by Richard ( http://richardstanford.com/fitness/ ). That really was an accident, but I think you may get my point now :-)
Thanks for pointing that out. That really sucks. I'll change back to haloscan.
